Arunit Phore is a qualified Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree from Australia. Alongside his professional background, he is a photographer and an editor.
He looks after the administrative matters of Phore Strokes, helping organise and support the collection as it continues to grow and reach a wider audience.

Dr. Rohnit Phore holds a Doctor of Philosophy in the Faculty of Languages from Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. His creativity as a cartoonist was recognised during his student years, when he received awards at university and national-level cartoon competitions.
His early professional work covered multiple forms of cartooning, including sports caricatures, daily pocket cartoons, editorial cartoons and illustrations. Over the years, his work appeared across a number of national newspapers and magazines.
He later worked with The Financial Express, Delhi as a cartoonist and illustrator, creating editorial cartoon columns and illustrations. His career also included international syndication work and editorial cartoons on world politics.
